Technical Tips from Mark W. Persons |
FM RF Low-Pass Filter |
This may be your answer a problem
where an FM translator is causing interference to a 450 MHz two-way
radio system. The filter to attenuate the translator's RF harmonic in the 450 MHz communications band dramatically. You can use a Broadcast Concepts low pass filter board in an RF tight box with N or BNC connectors. This filer would be good for any FM broadcast transmitter facility where RF harmonics need to be attenuated. |
The specifications are listed on one
side of the filter and they are fairly impressive. We have just one left in stock at $236 plus shipping. Filters for up to 800 watts can be built in a similar fashion. |
The stories go on and on.
Stop in again sometime. I'll leave the soldering iron on for you.
