Engineer's Log of Mark W. Persons
2013 Year End

Tuesday, December 31, 2013:  Yet another interesting year.  The shop has been busy with repairs of FM exciters, RF amplifiers, audio processing, modulation monitors, and other radio broadcast equipment that came from radio stations in 16 states and the Virgin Islands during 2013.

I attended the Dayton Hamvention in Ohio.  Along the way, I saw the Bob Paquette Microphone Museum Electronic Research, the Voice of America, Wright-Patterson Air Force Museum, Fair Radio Sales, and Crown Broadcast.

We continue to handle orders for Econco tube rebuilding along with new tubes, some of which are new-old stock.  Used equipment sales continued steady.  New items were sold as well.  I wrote six articles for Radio World Magazine during the year and am scheduled to speak at an engineering meeting at the National Association of Broadcasters convention in April.

Hope to hear from you too soon.

Quote of the day:  There seems to be no end to requests for equipment and service.  Mark  CPBE

The stories go on and on.  Stop in again sometime.  I'll leave the soldering iron on for you.
Mark W. Persons
