Engineer's Log of Mark W. Persons
Television Interview

Wednesday, January 26, 2011:  A rather unflattering photo of Mark while he was being interviewed on TWiT.TV (This Week in Tech).  It is an Internet television channel for technology people.  TWiT normally focuses on computer and similar gadgets.  The session was actually on the TWiRT (This Week in Radio Tech) program, which is run by well-known radio engineer Kirk Harnack and is aired on TWIT.TV Wednesdays between 7 PM and 8 PM Central time.

On this episode, the moderators were Kirk Harnack from Telos Systems, Chris Tobin from CBS Radio, and Chris Tarr who is a broadcast engineer in Wisconsin.  Mark talked about how he was born into broadcasting with his father starting in radio in the 1920's.  A wide range of topics were covered including stories about funny experiences in the industry.  There were about 1000 viewers at the time.

Recorded video is not available, but a 23.9 MB audio-only podcast version is available for download at http://bit.ly/TWiRT67

February 1, 2011 e-mail:  Nice interview, Mark!  Shane in Laramie, Wyoming.

Quote of the day:  You never know what life will bring.  Mark

The stories go on and on.  Stop in again sometime.  I'll leave the soldering iron on for you.
