Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura was at Breezy Point, MN on May 11th and 12th, 2001 to promote the beginning of Minnesota's Walleye fishing season. The Governor started it off by broadcasting his weekly "Lunch with the Governor" radio show from the Antler's Restaurant at Breezy Point. The show is aired live on WCCO Radio in Minneapolis and locally on WWWI Radio in Brainerd, MN. |

A crowd of about 150 crowed in to see the Governor do his show and to hear his comments. |

Mark had a chance to meet and talk with Lieutenant Governor Mae Shunk. She is a very interesting and well spoken lady. |

Everyone recognizes Governor Ventura, the big guy on the left, standing next to Mark Persons. The Governor is a very colorful person. He answered questions and gave an update on the latest happenings from the state capital. |
