![]() This is a rack mounted logic controller, which is typically used with four port MCI coaxial transfer switches. We sell the switches and build the controller to match the requirements of the customer. The MCI RF switches range in size between 7/8 inch and 6 1/8 inch EIA. A typical configuration is shown above. There are red push buttons for sending the main or auxiliary transmitter to the antenna. A light above each pushbutton indicates which position the RF switch is in. A toggle switch, in the center, opens the interlock circuit on the transmitter that is not connected to the antenna. For maintenance, the switch is turned up to allow a transmitter to run into a dummy load. A light, above the switch, shows which state it is in. |
![]() A back view shows the logic system. Each logic card has timers to control the main and auxiliary transmitters. When a front panel push button is activated, the interlock circuits on both transmitters are opened thus shutting both down. A 3/4 second timing cycle is started followed by powering the motor driven RF switch to it's new position. The transmitter interlocks are again closed when the RF switch has reached it's new position. The entire operating takes about 2 seconds. The system is fully remote controllable with a DC status logic output when the auxiliary transmitter is connected to the antenna. A 24 volt DC power supply is shown in the foreground. |
The RF Switch Controller panel is $980.00.
